Recently, I’ve been following a daily to-do list routine, and this afternoon, I decided to search for the keyword “to-do list” on Etsy to see what’s available.
I stumbled upon a Canva template bundle with six designs—which perfectly aligns with my approach of creating and selling digital products through affiliate marketing. Inspired, I went to WarriorPlus (a marketplace for digital products and affiliates) and searched for “Canva template” to analyze the market.

What I Discovered
I found hundreds of products generating at least $1,000 in sales, confirming the demand for these templates. That got me thinking—could I create similar products for other niches like health, mental well-being, or productivity?
So, I logged into Canva and started experimenting. (You can grab a free Canva account from the link below to try it out!)
The Plan: Monetizing Canva Templates
If I can create around 50 to-do list templates, package them as a digital product, and list them on WarriorPlus, I can recruit affiliates to promote and sell them.
Would this strategy work? Absolutely! Here’s why:
- The market is proven
- With unique, creative designs, I can target new niches
- Instead of driving traffic myself, I can leverage affiliates
Alternative Selling Platforms
Another way to sell these templates is through platforms like Etsy and Fiverr, where built-in traffic exists. However, I’ve heard many people struggle with PayPal limitations and account suspensions, making WarriorPlus a safer and more scalable option.
Final Thoughts
Instead of buying digital products, I focus on creating and selling them. My approach is simple:
- Identify market trends
- Create valuable digital products
- Find affiliates to sell for me
By skipping the traffic-building phase and leveraging existing affiliate networks, I can scale faster with less effort.
It’s time to stop buying and start creating! 🚀
