Choosing the right project is essential for success, especially when aiming to scale quickly. Here are the three criteria I consider when deciding which projects to pursue:
- Quick Earnings: Does the project pay commissions quickly? I’ve had experiences where I was invited by Lazada to Singapore for training and sharing, but I decided to stop because their commissions were locked for 45 to 90 days. I prefer projects that pay commissions immediately or on a weekly/monthly basis, as this helps maintain cash flow and motivation.
- High Earnings: Does the project offer multiple sources of income? Are there any limits on commissions? I typically select projects that provide various income streams and offer multi-tier commissions. This ensures that even if one stream slows down, others can continue to generate income.
- Sustainable Earnings: I understand that my health and time are limited. I cannot continue doing the same thing until I’m 60 or 70 years old. Therefore, I always look for projects that can generate lifelong income after the initial setup phase. In the first 1-2 years, I may work hard to build it up, but after that, I should be able to travel with my laptop, earning passive income while living a free life.
With these three factors in place, I’m confident I can build a strong and sustainable project. I won’t stop until it generates income on its own and gives me the freedom to live life on my terms.
