Hello everyone,
Today, I want to share some of my thoughts and ideas. I hope this will help some of you who are still uncertain about affiliate marketing.
Currently, I am working with affiliate marketing (AM), which is a sales method where you earn commissions. The advantage of this method is that you don’t need to worry about stock, packaging, or shipping, and you can avoid inventory overload or lack of capital. However, to make sales, you need to create good content. You have two options: create content or re-upload videos. I’ve chosen the second option.

1. Video

How to Find Products and Content:

  • I usually refer to Shoplus, which provides a comprehensive list of trending products by day, week, and month. I filter out products that are seeing significant spikes or consistent growth in sales.
  • Content: Shoplus also features trending videos and well-performing affiliate videos related to products. Once you find a product, you’ll notice multiple affiliate videos for that product. Select and rework them into your own style.
  • Additionally, you can check platforms from China like Douyin, Kaishou, 1688, etc. This approach helps you avoid the issue of direct duplication. I’ve created a video showing how to find videos based on products. Feel free to message me for help if needed.

Editing:

  • Use Canva to create some posters or images that you can add to the video.
  • I use CapCut for editing. The method I usually apply is adding an overlay (created from the original video), flipping it, adjusting speed, changing the audio, and cutting and combining clips from different sources to avoid TikTok’s AI flagging it as non-original content.

Resources:

  • To do affiliate marketing on TikTok, your account needs to have at least 1k followers or be linked to a seller. I used to buy accounts on Taphoammo, but now I grow them myself because I have other projects.
  • Equipment: I also use 2 mobile phones and an emulator on my PC to post videos. It’s important to change your IP address to avoid TikTok flagging you for spam. You can use software or mobile data (each time you turn it off/on, the IP address changes).

Account Management:

  • I use Excel to manage my accounts.

2. Re-uploading Live Streams

This method has been around for a while, but it’s gaining a lot of popularity recently.

  • For live streams, I use the same process as when finding products. However, instead of finding regular videos to re-upload, I search for live streams. When influencers go live, I use the F12 tool to download the live session and edit it to avoid the original content issue, as I mentioned earlier.
  • After editing, I test it by re-broadcasting it on the Live Studio. If it works fine, I use a third-party tool to loop the stream continuously (I can’t name the tool here for privacy reasons, but you can search for it online or message me if you need more details. It’s free to use).
  • Note: To stream on TikTok’s Live Studio, your account must have done at least 25 minutes of live streaming within the past 30 days.

Conclusion

This is just a small piece of my personal experience in affiliate marketing, which I’ve gathered and am still applying. There are many experts out there, and I’m just a small fish in the pond. If you found this post helpful, please give me a like. If not, enjoy reading anyway!
Wishing you all success in the new month! 😊
