I know there are many opportunities out there that I could pursue, but still haven’t made any money.
The most common thing that affiliate marketers and MMO enthusiasts have, apart from vast amounts of knowledge, is the abundance of opportunities to dive into.
We know we can make money from this or that opportunity if we just take action, but still, the earnings aren’t coming in.
So, what’s the reason?
- There are many opportunities, but not knowing where to start, or not following through, leads to no real results.
- Thinking we’re not skilled enough, don’t have enough time, or lack the funds to make it happen.
- Lack of a toolset, mindset, or a team to scale quickly.
- And so on…
2. The Limiting Beliefs of MMO and Affiliate Marketers
- You have to be an expert to attract a community.
- You need to build complicated funnels.
- You have to have in-depth knowledge of the market and trading.
Of course, if you have the right resources—good team, substantial capital, expert knowledge, and a well-thought-out plan to drive traffic and build a community—you have more opportunities to succeed.
However, even without big capital, professional content, or a high-end media team, it’s possible to make 2-3 times more than those who spend money on professional branding.
You don’t need deep knowledge of the market.
You don’t need to be a content expert.
You don’t need to hire a top-tier media production team.
Community management can be simple.
No need to spend on ads, just rely on organic traffic from TikTok.
The key to success here is picking the right target audience from the start.
After analyzing this case, I realized that many are missing out on a potential market segment they haven’t considered.
3. Case Study: Earning $12,700 – $17,000/Month in 3 Months with a 2-Person Team and a Simple Approach
Time Investment: Full-time
We changed our positioning to attract more traffic by targeting a segment that others had overlooked. The misconception that you need to be an expert to attract a community was debunked.
There’s a vast ocean of traffic out there; the key is knowing where to find it and how to target the right audience.
Wrong Belief: You need deep knowledge to attract customers.
But each audience requires something different. If you give them information they don’t need, they’ll just scroll past your video, and future content won’t even be recommended.
How to Build a Similar Model?
Most people working in affiliate marketing and MMO are trying to save time more than money.
So, I analyzed and optimized the process and created a guide from A-Z to cut the time investment from 3 months to 20-30 days to get results.
All you need to do is manage the team (spend less time) instead of working full-time like in the case I analyzed.
Model Size: 3 people with a budget of $850/month
Traffic Source: Organic, no ad spend
Platforms Used: TikTok, YouTube, Zalo
If you’re a team lead, you can hand this file to someone new and they’ll just need to follow the steps to replicate the model.
I’m also open to collaborating with others to build this model as a team, including:
- Content creators
- Editors
- Trading experts
Part I: The Model
Mindset for Selecting the Right Target Audience
TikTok is a platform that promotes content based on user interests and preferences.
For high-knowledge content channels, the videos will be recommended to those who already have a basic or good understanding of the market, so they’ll likely filter out low-quality information.
Many invest in media teams to produce higher-quality content but end up earning 2-3 times less than the case I mentioned.
So, instead of producing high-knowledge content for an audience that already has experience, we shift the content style to attract a new audience who’s not necessarily looking for in-depth knowledge.
We attract them with hooks related to money and drive direct conversion via TikTok bios.
Organic Traffic Approach: Focus on producing a high volume of content quickly.
You only need 2 people: a content creator and an editor, to produce 5-7 short videos and 1-2 long videos per day.
The content is repetitive, so it doesn’t take much time for the content creator.
Community management is simple but effective.
Within the community, we focus only on a few basic trading pairs, like:
- BTC/VNDC
- Top altcoins/VNDC
For newcomers, concepts like cashing out from VND to USD can be a new idea, so we keep things simple and use VNDC pairs.
With just a few pairs, the community can follow easily, without being overwhelmed by too many choices.
Since we targeted people who don’t have much interest in self-learning or deep market knowledge, we didn’t create content for them to learn but instead provided real-time trade analysis to help them improve their skills.
The community’s skill level grows with each trade, and the continuous updates spark FOMO, bringing more organic traffic.
Part II: Finding Your Team
As a business owner, some people are more interested in models, opportunities, analysis, and generating revenue and profit, while others are passionate about trading—immersed in the market, learning every day.
If you only provide them with business model analysis, they might not be interested because it doesn’t excite them. On the other hand, if you try to trade 24/7, it might not be sustainable either.
Everything starts with passion, and each person’s passion is different.
If you’re passionate about the business model and opportunities to make money, the best strategy is to collaborate with someone who’s passionate about trading. Together, all three of you can win: you win, they win, and your community wins.
Everything I’ve mentioned in this post is based on my personal experience and knowledge.
